2 Corinthians 5:21Years ago a famous preacher in America used to get his congregation to make the following declaration before he would preach, they would raise their Bible and say
“This is my Bible, I am what the word says I am, I can do what the word says I can do, I can be what the word says I can be and I can have what the word says I can have”. What a powerful faith filled declaration for the child of God to speak.
It is time that we believe, confess, accept and begin to live what the word says about us. For this to happen we are going to have to live by faith and not by sight. We are going to have to declare the word of God out of our mouth. And we are going to have to believe the word more than what is going on around us. Who the word says you are is not subject to what is happening in your life right this moment, but your circumstances are subject to what the word of God says. This faith attitude that believes the word will challenge religious mindsets that would love to tell you what you are not, how bad you are, how you must suffer because of your past, and how you’re just an old sinner saved by grace.
The Bible says the following about you and I encourage you to declare it this week and believe it in Jesus name:
You are blessed and not cursed, you are healed and not sick, you have peace and not confusion, you have prosperity and not lack, you are not running from the devil, the devil is fleeing you, you have joy and not sadness, you are forgiven and not condemned, you are righteous and not a sinner, you are not bound Jesus has set you free, you are not defeated for you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you, you are the head and not the tail, you are loved beyond your wildest dreams by God and He is not out to get you, you have more than enough for God provides all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, you are strong and not weak, you are bold and not timid, you are not lonely for Jesus said I am with you, you are not confused for God is not the author of confusion, you are not just a nobody you are a child of God. We could go on and on finding out what the word says about us. Declare it, do not believe the lies of the devil, find out what God says about you and believe it, for that is who you are, whether you feel it or not. Amen
