Faith Language

The believer has been given a language. It is called the language of Faith.  When someone is learning a language that is foreign to them, it takes intense discipline , study and practice to be able to speak and dominate that language with freedom.
So it is with learning the language of faith, it will take discipline, study and practice to arrive at the place where we are speaking faith all the time. Unfortunately the confession of so many believers  is full of words that carry doubt, negativity, fear, worry, guilt, pride etc, which is the language of this world and will produce after their kind.  Phrases like “I can’t” “I’m just a sinner” “Its killing me” “I’m going to catch the cold” etc are common in the language of Christians. Beloved this ought to not be so. There is a better way of speaking and it is God way speaking and perfectly outlined in the Bible.
The number one reason why people do not give the importance to the words of our mouths as they should is:
“Not understanding the power that words have”
You and I must first realize that the words of our mouth have power, when we understand this we will discipline ourselves and put a check over our mouth, in order to speak only that which is of faith. Job 6:24,25 says “How forcible are right words” the word forcible means: effective, efficient, powerful etc. Also in Proverbs 6:2 the word says “You are snared by the WORDS of your mouth, you are taken with the WORDS of your mouth: the word snared means: To be entrapped, to be caught in a trap like an animal. Notice that most of the time it is not the devil that entraps us, it is the very words of our mouth. The devil is not our problem, our concern must be to speak the right words. In so many cases the devil is blamed for things that happen, when a simple check on our confession will help us see that our real problem is not the devil but our words.
Proverbs 18:21 also says “Death and life are in the power (Ability, direction, strength, force) of the tongue”.
 Many people may ask, What am I supposed to speak? Answer is, that we are to speak the word of God. God told Joshua “This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth” he was to speak the word. Speaking the word of God is what we call faith talk, for the word of God is faith. The Bible in Romans 10:17 says ”So then faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God”. Your ears and surroundings need to hear the word of God proceeding out of your mouth continually. I want to encourage you precious believer to strive to speak the       language of faith. It is going to take discipline, study, practice and learning to get to the place where the faith language flows freely out of our mouth. Thus we will see the fruit and blessings that come from dominating the language of faith. Start today to speak faith!!!!!!!!
