Resources Word Of Power Amen
Amen

When we have a revelation of what the word Amen means and have an understanding of the power behind that word, we will never again say it casually.
Amen, is more than just a word that we say at the end of a prayer or when we agree with what a preacher says. Tradition and familiarity have taken away from this word the faith impact that it should have when we declare it. It is a hell shaking word that can change the atmosphere from defeat to victory. This word has been so devalued to where many people think that it is a word that we say to conclude a prayer.
For a faith person, the word Amen, is a declaration that establishes things and sets God’s word into motion.
Taken from Strong’s word study concordance, the word Amen means: It is True, Sure, So be it, Faithfulness, I agree, to confirm, to support, to be faithful, trustworthy.
The major idea behind the word is constancy and reliability. It is used as a declaration to acknowledge affirmation of a statement.
In truth, Amen is one of the most powerful words we can confess. When you are reading your Bible and you read something that stirs up faith in you, immediately connect with that truth by saying Amen. You are saying in that one word, it is true, I agree, let it be a reality in my life, what I am reading.
Understanding what this word means takes on a whole new meaning as to why and when we say it. You may be hearing a preacher who under the anointing of God will say something in the message that is directly responding to an area in your life where you need a miracle, that is an opportunity to release your faith through your mouth with a shout of Amen. I truly believe that when you do that something begins to take place in and around you.
Given the significance and power of this word our services should be full of declarations of the word Amen. Wether it is in the praise and worship, in a prayer that someone lifts up to God or during the message. This is why in a gathering with a cooperate anointing the word Amen through the mouth of believers plays a special and important role for the release of the supernatural. Why? because your Amen, together with my Amen, together with the Amen of the person behind you begins to release an atmosphere of faith and agreement to the word of God.
Next time you say Amen remember that you are making a faith connection with that prayer, verse, preaching etc and expect what you are agreeing with to come to pass.

May God bless you and remember you are blessed, Amen.
