What Do You See?

Just as faith people have a way of living, a way of walking, and a  way of talking, we also have a way of seeing. We are to be people that see by faith and believe that those things that we see with the eye of faith will come to pass.

Elisha came to the city of Jericho and was told by one of his associates “The situation of this city is pleasant, as my Lord SEES, but the water is poisoned, and the ground barren”. This one verse, is full of revelation on how we are to see. The word see in this verse is translated from the Hebrew and means: To enjoy, to experience, to reflect on, to be concerned with, it is also possible for this verb to require the individual to make a mental observation.

Notice that the city had waters that were poisoned and therefore made the ground barren, which tells us that the situation was not good to look at with the natural eye. But a faith declaration was made of what could be seen with the eye of faith.    Notice that the prophet said “The situation of this city is pleasant as my Lord sees”. The word pleasant here translated from the Hebrew means: Good, fruitful, prosperity, wealthy, full of potential. This is what the prophet could see with the eye of faith. They saw by faith a land full of life, prosperity and wealth. A mental observation/picture was being established even before it came to pass in the      natural. They could see it.

What do you see? Maybe at this moment in your life things are not exactly the way you would like, maybe there has been a season of bareness, and of no fruit. I want to tell you that if you can see with your eye of faith what the word of God says about you and confess it as true, your situation will begin to change and align itself up with what you are seeing, because what you see is based upon the word of faith, and is backed up by what God says about you and your life.

You have to see it in order to go after it. See that God wants you blessed, healed, prosperous, full of peace and fruitful and then believe that it will manifest. Amen.
