In The Last Days

This week while meditating on the things that are going on around the world, the Lord dropped a thought in my spirit that I believe needs to be highlighted and will encourage you.

It is the following.

It is true that what we are seeing taking place in the world at this present moment is a sign of the last days, for the Bible says that there will be earthquakes in divers places, (Mathew 24:7) and that the sea and the waves will roar, (Luke 21:25). But the Bible also says in Acts 2:17  “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh”. Notice that God himself is saying, in the last days there will be a mighty outpouring of His Holy Spirit.

I felt the Lord moving upon me and saying that this should be the  focus of the church concerning the last days, preparing ourselves and seeking Him for the last and mighty move of God upon this earth before His coming. In Mathew 24:14, we are told that the last prophecy before the end of this dispensation is that this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world, and then the end will come. What is the Gospel of the Kingdom? We see the Kingdom Gospel manifested in the ministry of Jesus and that of the Apostles in Acts. It is the word preached under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, it is signs, wonders and miracles following that word and it is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. There will also be a greater release of the prophetic and the seeing of visions and dreams, Acts 2:17,18.

So beloved church family get ready for a Revival to break forth such as this world has never seen. This should be the sign of the last days that the church is looking for and desiring. We need it, we hunger for it, we pray for it and may we be part of it. God bless you.
