Ephesians 3:20
Throughout the beginning of the last two years that have gone by, I along with my family and ministry have stood upon the authority of Ephesians 3:20 which says, “Unto Him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly and above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us’.
As we start the year 2011 I along with my wife and children have once again taken this verse as our point of faith for the year ahead.
Not only that, we have also taken hold of this verse for Gospel of Power Church and all those families and individuals that are partnering with us. That this year will be the year in your life and our Church of the exceeding, abundantly and above.
Believe this with me, meditate on it with me and declare it with me that this verse will manifest in our lives, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, in our families and relationships and in our walk with God.
I have learnt and seen that when God is doing the exceeding, abundantly and beyond in our lives we are going to have to cooperate with what He is doing.
Most of the time, before He does these things around us, He is firstly going to do it in our lives. Before he expands the exterior He will expand our interior, that is the process of His growing and working in us, expanding our way of thinking so that when He brings to our lives, church etc, the exceeding, abundantly and beyond we are ready for it. Make this year the year where you make yourself ready for the overflow that God wants to give you. This is why this verse finishes of saying “according to the power that works in us”. This is talking about the power of the word, faith and the Holy Spirit that is activating, operating, and energizing in us. This is what I call the interior working before the exterior manifestation.
Determine that you will give God something to work with this year and that you will go to another level in your faith life.
Get into the word, grow in your faith and listen to the Holy Spirit. And this year will be the year of the exceeding, abundantly and beyond. God bless.
