My God Shall Supply All Your Needs

We are being reminded almost on a daily basis of the global economic recession that the world finds itself in. Along with that we are told that unemployment is high, that it is getting harder and harder for people to pay their mortgages and at the same time seeing thousands of people loosing their life savings and seeing their super basically reduced to nothing. We are told to get ready, for things are going to get worse.

For the world, this is a frightening prospect and one of no comfort or solution, even to the degree where people are taking their own lives for fear of being left with nothing.

But for the child of God, this should not worry us, because we have a God whom if we allow, desires to be in control of our lives, finances, health etc.

The verse in Philippians 4:19 says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. Glory to God!!!!!

There is no need to fear or worry for the believer, because in the midst of what is going on around us we can put a “but” into the situation and declare this verse over our lives and say, “But” my God, here is the key to receiving the provision of God, He must be your God, this is a personal thing, He is ABBA FATHER which means the provider.

Then the verse says “shall supply all your needs” it does not say He might or He will see, it says He shall, which means that He will, as long as He is my God. The word supply means: to supply fully or abundantly, to generously provide what is needed, to cover the cost completely. Hallelujah!!!!

He shall supply according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, this means that there is always more than enough, the last time I looked there is no recession or poverty in heaven, His wealth in heaven is unmeasurable. Notice that it says according to his riches in glory, it does not say according to his lack in glory.

My beloved brother and sister, our God will take care of us in these difficult times we are living in, you must determine to make Him your provider and honour Him with your tithes and your offerings and put Him first, showing Him that you are a believer in His word and that you fully trust Him to provide all your needs according to His riches in Glory.

No, we do not have to fear what we are seeing and hearing around us,

For our faith is in “Jehovah God”. Amen.
