Why seek ye the living among the dead?

Jesus is alive

Luke 24:5

Three days after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, some of the women that followed Him went to the tomb where He was buried, with spices they had prepared for His body. They did not know in their hearts and minds that as they arrived to the tomb they were to be the first people ever to receive the greatest news ever told.

They were to see the stone at the entrance of the tomb miraculously rolled away and as they walked in, they saw two angels of God standing by ready to deliver the greatest news ever to be told.

What was this news? The angels said to the women “why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but risen”.
Hallelujah!!!

That message is still speaking today louder and clearer than ever before. The message to all those that are looking for life is “do not seek life among the dead”.
Today more than ever before, people are going to and fro looking for life and fulfilment where joy, peace and healing can be a reality, but sadly in man’s search for life they seek it in dead places where no hope is found. They go looking for life in religion, drugs, alcohol, relationships, money, work, gurus etc and sadly when they are done looking and trying everything under the sun they have only found death and emptiness in the heart.

The good news is that we can find life and life is a man who’s name is Jesus and He is alive and not dead, therefore everyone that finds him and receives Him finds life.
