From Sunday 12th August, Gospel Of Power Sunday Service
The Beginning
Firstly I want to believe with you that the year 2010 will be a great year for you and your family. Believe that this year God will do in your life “exceeding, abundantly and above all that you could ask or think, according to the power that worketh in you” Ephesians 3:20.
Take that verse as a promise for this year and have faith that it will be fulfilled in every area of your life.
Well, I am delighted to inform you of great news; along with my wife and children we are going to plant a church in the coming weeks.
A year ago after two months of seeking the Lord about this which the Lord had laid on my heart, He gave me and my wife the word, the peace and the direction to start an English speaking church in Brisbane, thus expanding our ministry which so far has mainly been within the Spanish community.
For the last year we have been preparing ourselves in prayer and the word, continually seeking the direction and provision of our Lord and waiting for Him to indicate to us the right timing for all this to happen, knowing that the timing to do what God instructs you to do is very important. A few months ago we felt that the time was coming shortly for us to launch out into this task and after much prayer and consideration we have finally set a date for this church plant to begin. We are excited and anticipating that God will bless this church and use it to be a blessing in our city.
It is our desire that Gospel Of Power church will be a place where the following takes place, salvation of souls, healing of the sick, deliverance of the oppressed, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and a be place where people will hear the Gospel preached with power and authority thus confirmed by God with signs, wonders and the moving of His Spirit. We do not want to be just another church on the street corner doing the status quo; we believe that we must be a church that is not ashamed of the Gospel and the power that it has to change lives. We want to be a breakthrough church that desires to see and experience the moving and the operating of the Holy Spirit, which the church of today so desperately needs.
If you live in the city of Brisbane or in the surrounding suburbs, and you are currently not attending a church, I personally invite you to visit us for our first service; the information for this service is as follows:
The call that I along with my family have received for this church plant is that it be done by faith, I ask for your prayers, that God may give us the necessary provision, that He may add the people to the church and that He may move by the power of His Spirit.
Thank you for your prayers and your support.
May God bless you and remember “There is still Power in the Gospel”
Evangelist Esteban San Martin
