John 8:1-11 ₁₀ But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. ₂ Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. ₃ Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. ₅ Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” ₆ This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. ₇ So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” ₈ And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. ₉ Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. ₁₀ When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
₁₁ She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and[k] sin no more.”

Luke 13:10-17 ₁₀ Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. ₁₁ And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. ₁₂ But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” ₁₃ And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
₁₄ But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.” ₁₅ The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? ₁₆ So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” ₁₇ And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.
